Brilliant production! Informative, entertaining and professionally executed. My wife and I sat through watching the 3 episodes of Provence and enjoyed them thoroughly. No stunning landmarks like Rome but very personal and down to earth description of everyday life. We visited Paris 18 years ago and could remember most of the scenic spots, but we only passed through the countryside on motorways. The 3 episodes of Provence have given us an insight into ordinary French life which we couldn’t have seen. They were well-designed and arranged beautifully like a documentary on French life, esp. on food which the French are famous for, not just the run-of-the-mill tourist promotion stuff. As producer and director you should win a double oscar. The background music was excellent and although I don’t understand French I knew these songs in English lyrics. I didn’t realise that they were French songs! As for scenery I was impressed with the ancient buildings in Avigon and the port city of Marseilles and of course the stain-glass windows! My wife and I would like to thank you for providing us with the opportunity to see provincial France and will recommend all these episodes to my alumni and their family. Well done, Dominic!
